Meet the Wellspring Dental Group Team
Dr. David B. Chan
DMD
Dr. Dave Chan received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry at Oregon State University. It was at Oregon State University that Dr. Chan developed a new anti-depressant medication which was patented in May 2014. Dr. Chan then moved to the east coast to attend Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. At Tufts, he was an Osher Scholar and was the recipient of the prestigious clinical Yurkstas Prosthodontic award.
Here at Wellspring Dental Group, Dr. Chan focuses on dental implants, full mouth reconstruction, snoring treatment with Solea Sleep, and orthodontics.
In his free time, he loves cooking authentic Chinese cuisine for his wife and three children.
Dr. Kelly Whelan
DMD
Dr. Whelan grew up in Dunstable, MA and completed her undergraduate education at the University of Rhode Island where she received a Bachelors in Environment and Life Sciences. She was Captain of the Women’s Division 1 Swimming and Diving team. Dr. Whelan then moved to Boston where she graduated with Deans Honors in the top of her class from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. There, she was the recipient of the Thomas B. Hunt and Joseph R. Evans academic and clinical awards. Dr. Whelan has received extensive training in Invisalign® and Implant Restorations.
Here at Wellspring Dental Group, Dr. Whelan focuses on orofacial pain, TMD/TMJ, sleep apnea with OPTISLEEP, and orthodontics. She is also the Medical Director for Wellspring Esthetics.
When Dr. Whelan isn’t at the office she is either swimming or spending time with her family. She has three boys; Nolan, Carter and Connor as well as a golden retriever Kumi; all of them keep her very busy!
Dr. Michael Buchler
DMD
Michael Buchler, DMD, graduated from Oregon State University in Biochemistry and Biophysics in 1998, and Oregon Health and Sciences University School of Dentistry in 2004. Since then, he has continued his education by taking hundreds of hours of professional courses to keep up with current trends, technologies, and advancements in dentistry.
Dr. Buchler takes pride not just in the quality of dentistry he practices, but also the quality of his patient’s experiences. He places special attention on the office environment, staff, and technologies that make coming to the dentist more comfortable, and even fun.
Here at Wellspring Dental Group, Dr. Buchler focuses on root canals, crowns & bridges, fillings, and extractions.
Dr. Buchler and his wife, Dr. Amy Buchler, are proud parents of 4 children. When he’s not in the office, he stays active with family activities, including hiking, golf, and day and overnight road trips to “family favorites” Monterey, Carmel, San Francisco, and Lake Tahoe.
Dr. Khosrow Dinyaryan
DMD
Khosrow Dinyaryan received his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Azad University of Qazvin-Barajin. Upon arriving in the US, he started his journey by attending University of Massachusetts Boston, where he graduated first in class with distinction and graduated with a B.S. degree in Biochemistry. He then went on to Tufts University School of Dental Medicine to pursue his dental career.
While at Tufts University, Dr. Dinyaryan had the pleasure of exploring various aspects of dentistry. He was involved in multiple clubs and research groups that enabled him to explore and learn more about dentistry. He was awarded the Tufts Merit Scholarship and earned recognition on the Dean’s List all four years of dental school.
Dr. Dinyaryan focuses on the patient’s wants and needs. He is innovative with each treatment plan to ensure they coincide with the patient’s long term goals. He is committed to making each visit as comfortable and productive as possible.
Here at Wellspring Dental Group, Dr. Dinyaryan focuses on crowns & bridges, fillings, extractions, and root canals.
In his free time, Dr. Dinyaryan loves to explore nature, watch movies, and read books.
